 Emergencies happen. They strike us at work, at home, on the farm, in the car, at play and often when we least expect them. Part of our mission is to provide the public with education and skills to deal with emergency situations properly.

Baldwin Area EMS is an approved Training Center, we use our equipment to provide for an interactive, experiential learning environment. We are passionate about making sure that each student leaves the classroom feeling confident in the skills they gained. We offer Basic First Aid and CPR/AED courses to the public through the Baldwin-Woodville Community Education Program each month.

This training program provides individuals with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective basic life support in an emergency for adults, children and infants.

This training program provides individuals with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective basic life support in an emergency for adults, children and infants.

This course is intended for Persons who do not work in the health care field but are occupationally required to, or desire to, have CPR knowledge and skills, such as emergency response teams in business and industry, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, teachers, parents, babysitters, or any one that wants to know what to do in a cardiac emergency.

The initial course is 4 hours, successful completion of the course includes a written test and practical skills station. You'll receive instruction and a nationally recognized completion card good for 2 years.

This training program is designed to focus on supervising, caring for, and keeping children and infants safe in babysitting settings.

The program provides fundamental information in the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic caregiving skills, and responding properly to ill or injured children or infants.

The program provides fundamental information in the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic caregiving skills, and responding properly to ill or injured children or infants.

The course is intended for students ages 11 to 16 who are interested in providing babysitting services. Students mustperform required skills competently without assistance in order to pass the course. The initial course is 6 hours.

This course is offered to individuals twice a year through the Baldwin-Woodville Community Education program. ACLS/PALS

 The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). 


 PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies 

 The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). 


 PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.
