St. Croix County EMS Chiefs would like to thank the SCEC Serves, St. Croix Electric for their grant to purchase Triage Flags for all EMS and First Responder Agencies in the county. These items will help services to provide care during an incident with many patients.
Baldwin EMS would like to thank the We Energies Foundation for the grant to purchase new pagers for growing our first responder network. This grant has allowed us to purchase several pagers for our first responders.
Baldwin Area EMS provides Advanced Life Support and Critical Care Paramedics to rural communities located in western Wisconsin. We are located just east of the Twin Cities along Interstate 94. We are a community based ambulance service that proudly serves approximately 15,000 residents of the Villages of Baldwin, Hammond, Wilson and Woodville, and the towns of Baldwin, Cady, Eau Galle, Erin Prairie, Emerald, Hammond, Pleasant Valley, Rush River, Spring Field, and Warren covering about 240 square miles in St. Croix County with about 1,800 emergency calls annually.
St. Croix County Emergency Communication Center coordinates dispatch services for 911 Emergencies. Baldwin Area EMS is part of the public safety system working with area Fire departments, local Police departments, and the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Department we are able to provide a more comprehensive and complete delivery of Emergency Medical Services to the residents and visitors of our communities.
Our ambulances are staffed and equipped to provide Advance Life Support (ALS) care. The Paramedics and EMTs are trained in advanced procedures and medications to provide emergency treatment for both traumatic injury and sudden illness. With the advanced skills, equipment, and constant communications with our medical control the time it takes to receive life saving treatment goes down meaning a quicker recovery for our patients.
In addition to providing Emergency 911 services we provide Critical Care Paramedic inter-facility transport services for Baldwin Area Medical Center. The Village of Baldwin has allowed us to invest in quality equipment and a high level of training so whatever the emergency you are being served 24 hours a day seven days a week by your neighbors who are highly trained professionals.
