Baldwin EMS Explorer Post 5600
Baldwin Area EMS offers an Explorer Post for area youth 14-20 years of age interested in prehospital emergency medical care through the Northern Star Council which promotes youth to be healthy, contributing citizens and leaders in their families, communities and the world.
Baldwin Area EMS offers area youth the opportunity to learn from Paramedics and EMTs how to care for the sick and injured. Our program will provide experience and training in prehospital care and other forms of healthcare leading to more confident and knowledgeable young adults.
This highly successful program has trained and mentored hundreds of young adults throughout the United States. Many of them are now active in the medical community pursuing careers as Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics and other health related fields.
Upon successful completion of our class you will be eligible to participate in the ride-along program which allows you to work with and observe our EMS providers as they perform their job duties as well as particpate in numerous activities and community events as an Explorer.
